A beautiful winter day in Laguna Beach with a wonderful family. It was the perfect weather not too hot or cold for our shoot.Lexi has the most amazing eyes. I love this beach in Laguna as it has so many great backdrops. Could not get more perfect, a seagull in the image. Catalina Island is in the background.
After votes from clients, friends and family they decided on the Best Photos of 2014 that I took. The number one image with the most votes was this gorgeous portrait of Sophia sitting in a window at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It had 29 votes because of those votes she is receiving a 16×20 wall portrait to cherish forever.
Third place was one of my favorites from the year, Baby Christopher’s feet. The comments on this image: So unique – makes you study it! and Very artistic. The last image with a lot of votes was Baby Lexi in a crate. Her image had the most comments of any of the photos:
I love this little girl sitting in the box. The colors are bright but blend together really well. I like how one of the flowers on her headband matches the color of the box. Her pose is so casual natural for a toddler. She holding onto the box, but not gripping it for dear life. She looks like she’s playing. I like having the autumn too because I think everyone has that picture of playing in a pile of leaves. And toothless smiles are just too cute!Ok – I had to vote for this one because the second I saw it I felt happy! The little darling looks as though she is having a great time and the picture is a great mix of nature, textures, light, cuteness and really could not be more perfect! I hope I don’t mess you up because I’m going to like 2 more – but this is my favorite GREAT WORK!!!
OMG!!!! That is the most precious picture ever!!!! You are AWESOME! What a gift you have with children.
Denise and Scott were on their honeymoon. They had gotten married the day before in Utah. Their shoot is all about romance. I met them in Laguna Beach and my first stop was at one of my favorite doors. Can’t beat having a couple kiss under a sign “Always kiss me Goodnight”. When I had enough photos of them kissing, I had to ask a couple of times for them to stop kissing. They were so in to each other. It was very sweet. They were very excited with the high tide and stunned by the beauty of the beach I picked. There was very few people at this beach and it was perfect weather, too.
Took these photos of this family two days before they were moving out of state. They love the beaches in California and wanted to have professional photos taken to always remember their time in here.
We were in the midst of a heat wave and even at the beach it was in the high 80s. Love the expression on all three of their faces.Gala really wanted some couple photos taken of them. I asked Luis to whisper something in her ear that would make her laugh. These are some of my favorite images of them for the expression is priceless.
Ryan was a referral! I love referrals and I always reward my clients when they give me a referral by giving them a $100 print credit on their next shoot. I had one client that accumulated $500 in print credit and ordered several metallic wall portraits for her home. I met with Ryan and his Mother for a consultation about his shoot. They really wanted a beach shoot. I told them about my favorite beach in South Laguna, what I like about it there are so many background options besides with the beach scene. I enjoy photographing at different angles. The one above, I was high up above Ryan and the one below, I was on ground level. Footprints… the sun on the sand made it glimmer.
Ryan is very photogenic with piercing blue eyes and a really sweet young man.
