Here is this wonderful family that I have photographed at the beach, park, city hall (Pasadena) and finally in their beautiful craftsman home. Which is great to captured their lifestyle. This year they adopted a rescue dog, name Pete. Who is adored and loved by all especially Erin. She just beams when looking at Pete. Such a cute sweater dress on Erin. Jack is ten years older than Erin so I always have to pose them in ways that you do not see the huge height difference between the two of them. Erin has a dream bedroom with shades of pink!!!
The first time I met Andrea was about three years ago to photograph her son, Josh for his senior session. Since then I have photographed the family several times. Josh has a beautiful girlfriend with the greatest smile. It was great addition to the family session to have her there. It maybe fall but the flowers were in full bloom at the Mission.
Such a gorgeous door at the Mission. The wood work is amazing. Perfect to frame Jonah in. I liked getting high up above to take the image below. It is always great to get a different perspective.
Great expression. I pulled back the color on this image to make the family pop more in the image.
The first time I photographed Lauren she was four years old. I recently looked back at those images and I can see all the changes in Lauren. It is rewarding to me as a photographer to capture these moments of Lauren’s childhood. Lauren’s Grandmother has ordered a wall portrait of this image. Seagull, footprints, beautiful girl = perfection!!I love images of children walking.
Lauren happily surrounded by her parents and grandparents. This young girl is so loved by her family. The above image is one of my favorite from the shoot as the family was looking out to the ocean, I asked Lauren to look at me. What a beautiful smile. Last image was taken near a park that is close to the beach.
A beautiful winter day in Laguna Beach with a wonderful family. It was the perfect weather not too hot or cold for our shoot.Lexi has the most amazing eyes. I love this beach in Laguna as it has so many great backdrops. Could not get more perfect, a seagull in the image. Catalina Island is in the background.
After votes from clients, friends and family they decided on the Best Photos of 2014 that I took. The number one image with the most votes was this gorgeous portrait of Sophia sitting in a window at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It had 29 votes because of those votes she is receiving a 16×20 wall portrait to cherish forever.
Third place was one of my favorites from the year, Baby Christopher’s feet. The comments on this image: So unique – makes you study it! and Very artistic. The last image with a lot of votes was Baby Lexi in a crate. Her image had the most comments of any of the photos:
I love this little girl sitting in the box. The colors are bright but blend together really well. I like how one of the flowers on her headband matches the color of the box. Her pose is so casual natural for a toddler. She holding onto the box, but not gripping it for dear life. She looks like she’s playing. I like having the autumn too because I think everyone has that picture of playing in a pile of leaves. And toothless smiles are just too cute!Ok – I had to vote for this one because the second I saw it I felt happy! The little darling looks as though she is having a great time and the picture is a great mix of nature, textures, light, cuteness and really could not be more perfect! I hope I don’t mess you up because I’m going to like 2 more – but this is my favorite GREAT WORK!!!
OMG!!!! That is the most precious picture ever!!!! You are AWESOME! What a gift you have with children.
