Kayla – Urban Girl, High School Senior Photography

Kayla knew what she wanted an urban shoot for her senior session…she is a city girl at heart.  What better place then than downtown Los Angeles to reflect her personality and her love for city life!  We started our shoot at the famous Disney Concert Hall Center with its great stainless steel curves and reflections.  Kayla had great clothes, shoes and jewelry for her shoot and each outfit had its own meaning, as they had been worn throughout Kayla’s senior year (for instance her black dress & blue shoes she wore to homecoming).  We were putting time in the bottle with these beautiful photographs as we captured everlasting visual memories of her special year.008 LogoMy photos from Kayla are being featured on Senior Style Guide which is honor as they receive hundreds submission every week. Very excited.

Megan – Orange County High School Senior Photography

Last year, I photographed Megan’s sister for her senior session. It was nice to meet up again with Megan’s Mom for another fun senior session with another beautiful daughter.

Fun Family Urban Photography – Orange County

I love urban shoots with a family. It is so different and fun. Andrew, Dina, Samantha and Abbey were a pleasure to photograph. Adorable girls and very photogenic, too!The colors in this shoot were so vibrant. My favorite of Abbey. The light was so beautiful on her.
Favorite of Samantha. Such a cute teenager pose. Love the above of the family. Bright colors.I always like to photograph framing the subject with plants.

Tori – Orange County High School Senior Photography

I photographed Tori’s sister two years ago for her senior portraits. It is really nice when clients come back to you. Tori’s parents are wonderful. I met with them a month before the shoot to plan out the venue based on Tori’s personality. Tori wanted interesting architecture. I suggested the Mission @ San Juan Capistrano (the staff is so great to pro photographers), and the train station so I could finally use a vintage suitcase from Found Vintage. Inspiration for the above image were the red shoes. Classic pose, beautiful girl, train tracks = my favorite image!!!I’m obsessed with doors for photo shoots, and the above image is AMAZING! Love the color combination with Tori’s dress and green door. I rented this fab suitcase from Found Vintage! Love their inventory!!! I had Tori’s Dad hold a light on Tori from the side and used a golden filter to give an illusion of sun shining in her hair.
Placed Tori in front of this alcove, the color of her dress is on the frame of the alcove.Always like to frame my subjects with plants. Thank you Tori, Val and James (Tori’s parents) for an awesome session!
